Access to Graduate Landing Spot

Only current Graduate Students can access the Graduate Landing Spot in the Scholars Commons. If someone cannot get into the Landing Spot by swiping their ID:

Confirm that they are a graduate student in Sierra:

1. Scan the patron's ID card (you need to see the ID, no EIDs for this purpose)
2. Below the EID is the "Patron Type"
3. A graduate student's patron type us "41 Graduate Student" (If scan the card and it has a date in red , then it is expired and they do not have access to the GSLS.)

If it does not say this but the patron insists that he is a graduate student, please refer him to a supervisor. We can check his status in the mainframe and confirm his enrollment.

If you have confirmed they are a Grad Student, find a staff member who can scan them into the Landing Spot. Then send the graduate student's EID and name to Aggie McAlester.
